Healthcare District Board calls public meeting on Jan. 22 to determine a path forward on Palm Springs hospital lease

The Desert Healthcare District will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. on January 22, 2024, at UCR Palm Desert to review Tenet Healthcare’s recent response to its request for lease changes submitted in October 2023.
This meeting will determine a path forward on the Desert Regional Medical Center lease and Tenet’s lease proposal.
As is required by law, the Board will host multiple community meetings to secure community feedback and input before moving forward on a potential public vote on any lease extension offer.
