The Desert Healthcare District & Foundation's monthly Program Committee meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8, has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items.

The Planning Committee, which is composed of three District & Foundation Board Directors, generally meets the second Tuesday of each month to determine whether grant applications are ready to be submitted for consideration by the full Board.

The committee is expected to reconvene on Nov. 12. Please see our schedule of committee meetings.

About the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation

The Desert Healthcare District is a local government agency formed in 1948. Its mission is to achieve optimal health at all stages of life for all District residents. The District includes more than 400,000 residents and encompasses the entire Coachella Valley. The District and Desert Healthcare Foundation, together, are one of the largest funders in the valley.
